Safari Zones in Kaziranga National Park

Central Safari Zone

Kohora city is the entrance to the Central Zone of the Kaziranga National Park and is situated only 2 kilometers from the National Highway. The demarcation of the Central zone begins in the Mihimukh riding tower, and this is where all of the Elephant safaris depart. The Elephant safaris continue for about one hour each and return to the Mihimukh riding tower from where tourists can leave to their hotels.

Western Safari Zone

The Western safari zone of the Kaziranga National Park includes its entrance gate in a location named Bagori, where the Bagori tourism office is located as well. Eastern Safari Zone

To reach the Eastern safari zone tourists need to go to a location named Agaratoli which is a small town located on the National Highway. Burapahar Safari Zone
